Aama Vadai Recipe

Namaskaram,
We would like to share with you a recipe called Aama vadai which can be prepared quickly easily and can be used for Neivedhyams. Please find below the recipe for Aama vadai.

Ingredients:

  • Chenna dhal -1 Cup
  • Black urad dhal broken – 2 spoons
  • Ginger
  • Green chilli’s – 2
  • Red chilli’s – 2
  • Coriander leaves – As per your taste
  • Salt as per your taste

Procedure:
Mix Channa dhal and Urad dhal in a bowl and wash them.

Soak the above mentioned dhals for atleast half an hour.

In the mean time cut Ginger, Green chillies and Coriander leaves.Once the dhal’s get soaked drain the water and  add the pieces of Ginger, Chillies, Salt, Coriander  leaves to this mixture.Grind them into a mixer and see that it doesn’t get grinded  like a paste . It should be grinded to a state of bits and pieces of dhal’s only then the vada will be more crunchy.

Now we are all set to prepare Tasty and Crunch Vadai. Heat oil in a pan , Once the oil is hot take a small portion of this mixture in your hand and start patting it to round shape  on a banana leaf or betel leaf and drop it gently in the oil.
Vadaifinal
Allow it to fry golden brown, then remove it from oil and place it in a bowl and the Aama vadai is ready to serve.
